Half-Life: Blue Shift is a first-person shooter game developed by Gearbox Software and released in 2001 as an expansion pack to the critically acclaimed Half-Life. Set in the Black Mesa Research Facility, the game shifts the perspective to Barney Calhoun, a security guard who previously played a supporting role in the original game. Players navigate through the chaotic aftermath of an experiment gone wrong, facing the same alien threats that Gordon Freeman encountered, but from a different vantage point.
